The Council's commitment to making its meetings and published materials usable by everyone.
Council meetings are typically held virtually via Zoom, which allows attendance from anywhere without travel. Meeting notices include the participation details. If you need an accommodation in order to take part in a meeting, contact the Council office in advance and the Council will work with you to arrange it.
Request an accommodationThis site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That includes readable colour contrast, text that resizes without breaking layout, keyboard navigation, and descriptive link text.
Some agendas, minutes and research materials are published as PDF or Word documents produced by third parties, and those may not meet the same standard. If you need a document in an alternative format, contact the Council office and it will be provided.
If you encounter a barrier anywhere on this site, please tell us what you were trying to do and where the problem occurred. Reports are used to fix issues and to guide future work.
