Who we are
LaTREC was established by the Louisiana Legislature through Act 314 of the 2019 Regular Legislative Session to strengthen the state's trucking industry through education, increased highway safety and workforce solutions. Supported by dedicated industry resources, the Council advances initiatives designed to directly benefit Louisiana's truckers and trucking businesses.
Meeting notices are posted in advance and opportunities for public comment are provided in accordance with Louisiana's Open Meetings Law.
